Pam was first associated with Colac Yach Club through her parents Marj and Jack Flintiff

Pam first came to recognition when she reprepresented Colac Yacht Club in 1962 at the Miss Derrinallum Yacht and Power Club beauty contest - she won it.

Her sailing achievments include

- Crew member of RL-24 "This Way Up" winning

- Glenelg Games - Gold medal - sailing

- Geelong Festival of sail - Trailor Sailor Division

- 6 Australian Championships

- 5 Victorian Championships

- Numerous Colac Yacht Club Pennants

- Sailing her own boat and introducing people to the sport

- Instigator and main organiser of Colac Yacht Club reunion

- Advocater for water in Lake Colac

- Maitance of gardens and club rooms

- Running and assisting in kitchen

- Twice Commodoreof Colac Yacht Club

- Twice Vice Commodore
